Nick inquired by phone about my project and asked the pertinent questions to assess and price the job. He felt it was fairly straightforward and explained the approach and pricing. He was able to meet my timing to take care of it the following day. He was super clear by text in setting up someone on his team to perform the work. The welder was super nice, punctual, efficient and easy to work with - also while taking my notes into consideration. I Contacted Nicholas on thumbtack about a quote for my front stairs railings that were rotted by the legs, and needed repainting. He gave me a reasonable quote and he came out on the agreed date and time to complete the work. He kept me updated about arrival time etc. When he arrived we went over what needed to be done and Nicholas got straight to work. The work was completed in a quick and professional manner. He took the necessary steps to protect my property from damage etc. while he was working, I watched most of the process and noticed how he managed his time. He was constantly occupied with a task. Similar to how I work. He is a true professional and I would recommend him.👍

I would check all boxes if they let me. Nick is a great find for railing and most likely all your welding needs. Communication and response to my inquiry and questions was appreciated. Once agreed, work was completed in a matter of days, with one day on-site. Excellent work, very happy and recommend highly!

It was such a pleasure to work with Nick that I wish I had more projects in his area of expertise. It was like a breath of fresh air having someone who listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, and delivered while making me feel extremely confident in his ability to deliver. Everything was completed with 100% satisfaction! I will highly recommend Nick to anyone I know who needs metalwork done. I initially contacted Nick to remove metal bars on the rooftop windows of my Manhattan townhouse. I asked about also installing a railing at the end of the roof since it was a long overdue item on the to do list. Nick gave me an affordable price for the 18' railing and removing the window guards. I'm extremely happy with Nick! He was thorough in communications, he was super professional in his delivery and he likely saved me a ton of money.
