Hello, my name is Daniel from Ramos Wildlife removal. I have been operating my own wildlife removal business for the last 3 years after working in the field for 4+ years prior. From getting rid pesky Raccoons, to the small mice in your home, I've done it all.
Wildlife removal is deceptively simple, but is often presented to the customer as a complicated process. Having someone you can trust is a must, and often you can feel like an afterthought with a large company. In my business, I work for you, no one else. Dan was punctual, accessible knowledgeable and professional. He called right away and scheduled for the following day, which was at our convenience. He also provided additional information, not assuming that we knew anything about our situation (which we didn’t) and talked us through our options and best practices. I contacted Dan after I suspected a family of squirrels in my attic. I kept hearing a lot of scratching, chewing, and sometimes chirping. I read chirping can indicate babies, so I hired him to come check it out.
Dan investigated attic on 8/3/25 and said he did not find any babies. He then recommended a 1 way exit for the squirrels, which I agreed to. I paid in full for $500 total via check.
8/3 exit was placed and told to wait 72 hours for them to leave. Noises were still heard and the one way exit looked like a squirrel had gotten around it. Contacted Dan who quickly readjusted exit on 8/6.
Dan also readjusted the exit door on 8/10, followed again on 8/14. Reason being is we continued to hear noise in our attic and because squirrel was extremely determined to get back inside.
Squirrels were still heard in the attic well after 8/14, so I chose to reach out to another company for a second opinion. I wanted someone to go deeper into my attic to really investigate. Sure enough, the second company found 3 BABIES! Babies looked around 6 weeks old.
I couldn't help but think what would have happened had that 1 way exit(that only adults can use) been successful. Mom nearly got separated from her babies 4 times by that exit door! Now, I am thankful that 1 way exit failed each time.
In the end, I paid $500 total. I asked if a partial refund was possible when the 4th adjustment kept giving us noise in our attic(this was before we knew babies were present and we were ready to hire a second opinion), but Dan replied "I do not do refunds at all unless the exception makes sense". Dan said his reasoning was because he was willing to come out and continue working on the squirrels if we would allow him, but I declined because each time he came out he was very focused on the exit only. He didn't offer to check our attic for a second time for a longer look, hence why I declined. My gut was telling me we needed a second look into the attic itself.
Second company, after finding the babies, created a makeshift nest in our backyard in hopes to reunite the 3 babies with their mom.Their mother found them and took them away (including climbing with them) once she realized attic was sealed shut. I am thankful for the outcome with the help of the second company.
I wish nothing but the best for Dan and his business. We are all human. None of us are perfect, and I know he meant zero harm and is all about being humane. Still, I just feel this could have been handled better. A partial refund for overlooking the baby squirrels would have been appreciated. Or, better yet, offering to double check the attic after seeing how determined the adult squirrel was to get back in, would have been best. Perhaps he would have found them then after the 2nd exit adjustment failed.
I give at least 2 stars for his quick respones and willingness to come out asap each time. However, I have to deduct 3 stars for overlooking those baby squirrels and nearly separating them from their mother.

I worked with Daniel last summer. My mother recently passed away and me and my sister had the duty of cleaning out her home and selling it. To our surprise, we entered her home weeks after she died and found it to be a complete mess, We called the police thinking someone had broken in but it turned out that there were some raccoons living in the attic space that somehow entered the living space. Daniel was great, he came in, and was immediately able to identify where they were getting in and out from. He suggested other services such as cleanup, that really helped me especially for selling the home. Anytime I had a slight issue, he always picked up the phone and would put me on the schedule promptly. I got to tell you, You really pulled me out of a pickle that we were in. (Ps sorry I don't have any pictures Daniel, I know you emailed some to me a while back but I can't seem to find them)
