Piano Tuning

Dave did an amazing job tuning my old spinet piano! He spent a lot of time to be sure that the piano sounded amazing. He also took care of some minor repairs and replaced a broken string. Dave is very dedicated to providing an exceptional job. Thanks again.

Piano Tuning

He worked long & hard tuning a piano not touched for 20+ years. First did a rough tuning, then went back again to fine tune. Carefully followed CDC safety instructions.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing varies $95 and up,depending on tuning needs, and that will include minor repairs or adjustments.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Customer contacts me through this site,or may call me and I will explain when I am available, ask when the piano was last tuned, ask if it is in its permanent location if they just received it,and make an appointment based on their time and mine. When I arrive, I need silence to tune the piano. Many of you have items such as knick knacks, decorations, lamps and other valuables sitting on the piano. I will need those removed prior to performing any work. Note:Many of my new clients have been moving their pianos away from a wall it is against. It is not necessary to move the piano at all unless there is something to be checked on the back.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

At this time,I have undergone a home self study course. Most of my experience is hands on.
