FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on what you're getting with my background, experience, and expertise. I like satisfied and happy customers, and my best customers have always been those that have come through referrals from previous clients. Every job is important to me, and I do it right.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to be a straight shooter. On Thumbtack, I try to give a price, ave sometimes an explanation up front, if I can. Often, It's necessary to see a project to be able to estimate it properly. So, first, I will try to gather a summary of what you are after over the phone, and set up a time to meet. Then, I will meet you and get a detailed picture of what you would like. If I can't offer you a price right then and there, I will get back to you with a price in a timely fashion. For bigger projects I may ask for up to half the money down. Then the work will be scheduled and be carried out as efficiently as possible, with me communicating with you at every step. Finally, I will aim for your complete satisfaction, and hope for a positive review. You will always be able to count on me to be there, if you ever experience any issues with my work. I stand by it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Even before I was 13, 26 years ago, I was helping to build homes with half a million dollars. When I graduated I began to work on Multi-million dollar homes at the shore. We built them, and put the finished the interior and exterior. I began my own work as a remodeling contractor over 15 years ago, now. I understand what it takes to do a job, do it right, and be able to stand by it.
