I needed to loose weight to be considered for a kidney transplant. Helene is patient and motivating. I have knee problems as well which makes exercise a challenge. She is very inventive and makes things fun. I lost over 50 lbs. She's not a drill sergeant. She just makes you want to do well. Love, Love, Love her.

Job: (3) three 20-30 minute age-appropriate instructional based fitness sessions for grades K thru 8th grade. The same material was used for all three sessions. Instructor knew in advance that We DID NOT have access to a copier but spent too much time on recipes that we couldn't provide to the kids. The same material could've been provided by our Gym teacher, minus the cost!
Putting the Personal in Personal Training's reply
In my long and varied career, this is the first and only negative review I have ever received. I'm sorry that you were so dissatisfied with my presentations. But I find it very difficult to believe that you couldn't find anything nice to say about me. I put a substantial amount of time into thought and preparation. I delivered exactly what we discussed by phone, with great energy and enthusiasm. I started earlier and stayed later than was originally agreed upon, and I tried to give useful information in a fun and interesting way - suitable and appropriate for all ages. There was never discussion of the need for three different presentations. The three sessions were simply to accommodate a large number of students. Several of the Teachers, including the Gym Teacher, complimented me on my "energy and positivity" and some of the students hugged and thanked me. I have found as a parent and Instructor that it is always kinder and more effective to offer alternatives, rather than to just tell a child (or anyone for that matter), what NOT to do;- which is why I offered healthy alternatives to sugary, non-nutritional meals and snacks. Cindy told me to bring copies of these simple, fun recipes, and she would do her best to distribute via email or whatever means was available. As is my habit, I will use this criticism, albeit unduly and undeservedly harsh, to improve myself. And I will continue to do exactly what I taught the students: To begin each day with Gratitude and a Positive Attitude. Thank you.

I am the father of an adult special needs child who has had the privilege of working with Helene Masiko for 2 years as her personal trainer. In that time Christine has lost 40 lbs. but her overall attitude has gone from being negative to highly positive. All this is thanks to Helene's highly professional manner and her compassionate feelings for her clients. You can email me at skip5143@yahoo.com for more information. My name is SKIP and I will try and answer your questions.
