I have studied French for decades and had many teachers, in-person, via Zoom, and immersion. I decided to learn Italian in advance of a scheduled trip to Rome. Laura was recommended to me by one of my best French teachers. Now, I have stopped studying French and switched to Italian. Yes, Laura is that good. Her lessons are well prepared and customized to meet my need to learn Italian fast, correct, and with the proper pronunciation. And, Lauras lessons are fun. We spend more time than anyone should during a language lesson laughing. We are on an adventure together. Language and culture. My grandson, who is 21 and also takes lessons from Laura, would say the same thing. In Rome together, my grandson and I will order a caffe doppio (a double espresso) and have Laura to thank. We will smile, nod, and touch our cups in a toast to everything Laura has selflessly given to usfrom her heart.

My typical process for working with a new student: 1. Free 30 minutes introductory lesson via zoom to understand the student's goals. 2. Customized Lesson Plan for beginners to intermediate learners. 3. Flexible Scheduling & Resources: We agree on a lesson schedule that fits the student's lifestyle. I provide supporting materials for practice between sessions. 4. Ongoing Support: Students can ******************** in between lessons with any questions. I am a native Italian speaker with strong family ties to Italy and frequent visits that keep me closely connected to the language and culture. For the past few years, I’ve been teaching Italian online and face to face, working primarily with beginner to intermediate students. My approach is rooted in real-world communication and cultural context, helping students gain confidence through practical conversation, listening, and everyday vocabulary. Growing up in an Italian-speaking environment has given me a deep, natural understanding of the language that I love sharing with others.
