- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new student: 1. Initial Consultation: I begin with an introductory lesson via zoom to understand the student's goals—whether it's for travel, conversation, work, or general interest—and to get a sense of their current level. 2. Customized Lesson Plan: I specialize in working with beginners to intermediate learners, so I create a personalized plan that focuses on building a strong foundation in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and real-life conversation skills. 3. Flexible Scheduling & Resources: We agree on a lesson schedule that fits the student's lifestyle. I provide supporting materials for practice between sessions. 4. Ongoing Support & Adaptation: I check in regularly to make sure the student is comfortable and progressing. Lessons are adjusted based on their pace and feedback, keeping things fun, practical, and effective. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning experience, especially for those starting out or looking to strengthen their Italian skills.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a native Italian speaker with strong family ties to Italy and frequent visits that keep me closely connected to the language and culture. For the past two years, I’ve been teaching Italian online, working primarily with beginner to intermediate students. My approach is rooted in real-world communication and cultural context, helping students gain confidence through practical conversation, listening, and everyday vocabulary. Growing up in an Italian-speaking environment has given me a deep, natural understanding of the language that I love sharing with others.
