FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a comprehensive pricing plan to include 3, 6, and 12-month package options for my clientele. I offer the option to pay this weekly or monthly. The iterated pricing includes the physical and physiological assessments I conduct at the outset of our work together. This simplifies the process such that you can pay for the higher upfront cost of assessment over time. Weekly pricing ranges from $102 to $312 depending on the frequency of training. I offer clients a 5% discount when you pay in full for the whole period of training upfront. Furthermore, I offer increasingly robust discounts for clients wishing to sign up for longer-term packages (6 - 12 months).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I began with a free consultation to evaluate your goals for treatment, your health history, and your overall willingness to begin a serious journey of healing! Once I have gathered this information, I schedule two comprehensive assessments that set the foundation for our work together. The first appointment consists of a scientifically designed CHEK Postural Assessment. The results of this assessment allow me to design a bespoke corrective exercise program for your unique muscle balance, fitness goals, and orthopedic history. The second appointment is an opportunity to delve deeply into the current status of your physiological well-being. I assign to you a full-scope Health Appraisal Questionnaire, and we meet for approximately 90 minutes to discuss the results. This is very similar to the "Case Review" process that properly trained Functional Medicine providers offer to their clients. No lifestyle factor is excluded from these assessments. I am able to determine your overall allostatic load - a term used to describe the body's ability to liberate adequate resources in stressful situations. This score allows me to determine where we can fine-tune your daily habits of living in order to optimize your longevity and well being. Furthermore, this allows me to ensure the benefits of your exercise program are both long-lasting and supportive of your current abilities. From that point forward, we meet between one to three times a week to implement your exercise program at Awakened Center for Wholistic Health in Nob Hill. I am a team member of this awesome facility, and I am blessed to work with exquisite professionals in the realms of corrective exercise, massage, herbalism, integrative psychotherapy, and more! I offer complimentary yoga and HLC coaching sessions once a month to clients that sign up for a 3, 6, or 12-month package!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am highly educated in the realms of corrective exercise, holistic health, and functional medicine. I integrate the best of multiple healing modalities to customize treatment plans to the unique physiology of every client I serve. I hold certifications with the CHEK Institute as an Integrated Movement Specialist Level 1, Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2, and Golf Biomechanics Specialist. I am licensed as a CHEK Professional. I have completed over 10 courses with CHEK Institute that inform my work as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, including Swiss Ball Training for Rehabilitation, Female Specific Training, Back Training, Core Conditioning, Practical Applications of Breathing and Posture, and more! I am a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I completed my 500 Hour Yoga Teacher training in the mecca of yoga, San Francisco, CA! I am currently studying Functional Medicine with the Kresser Institute and will graduate as an ADAPT Practitioner. This will greatly increase my background in current scientific literature applicable to digestive disorders and chronic disease. The completion of this training will allow me to serve clients with the assistance of allied medical professionals.
