FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I dont have a complicated pricing system at all. I will eventually have to raise my prices modestly to compete in this business but generally I charge $80. to shoot a typical residence and i will include an elevated front remote controlled image. If a house is over 3500 square feet, will require something particularly difficult and excessively time consuming I will charge more but at a reasonable level. That recent historic adobe was photographed for $125 that included a virtual tour that can be viewed at virtuallyshow.com/34699
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading everything I can about photography as well as comparing notes with professional photographer friends back in Chicago weekly. I have attended several workshops with the most informative one being taught by a photographer that worked for Sports Illustrated. That was like military boot camp all over again but with a camera! It was very informative as the photographer teaching the class brought in other staff members of Sports Illustrated to lecture.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I bought my first SLR camera while I was a soldier back in 1983 and the rest is history.
