FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My training sessions are one hour long (in the client's home or in a public setting) and cost $50 per session. If for whatever reason, a dog must accompany me to a session, there is an additional $10 added to the price. For traveling farther than 35 miles away from my own home would be an additional fee of $10 as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in years of studying, experimenting and attendance in Karen Pryor Academy. I've also worked alongside Behavioral Consultants and K-9 Officers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Never stop shopping! Trainers can tell you they focus on positive training, but often times they will still use punishment based training. If you are uncomfortable or if the trainer does not give you a straight answer to a question, keep looking! It isn't worth it to chance such an important relationship with your dog!
