About
Prices: $35 for 30mns, $50 for 45 and $70 for 70 mins. I intentionally offer the standard 30minute but in depth I offer 45-minute and 70-minute lessons because real progress happens when you’re not rushed, and I want you to actually enjoy the learning process from the very first session. Those opening minutes—tuning, warming up, shaking off nerves—are completely normal, and longer lessons give you the space to relax, lock in, and walk away knowing you learned something you can immediately use. With 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve seen firsthand that these lesson lengths consistently create faster growth, stronger confidence, and better long-term results for students at every level. I teach primarily online via Zoom, giving you flexible scheduling and professional-level instruction wherever you are, with in-home or studio options available when needed. I studied Guitar Performance at McNally Smith College of Music and have spent well over a decade working inside the professional music industry, collaborating directly and performing on major tours and productions with artists including Eric Church, Peter Frampton, The Temptations, Bryan Adams, the Jimi Hendrix Tour, Michael W. Smith, Foreigner, Melissa Etheridge, Kenny Loggins, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Martina McBride, Steven Curtis Chapman, Sidewalk Prophets, Tim Hawkins, Craig Campbell, and more—experience that shows up in every lesson through real-world insight you won’t get from generic teaching apps or hobby instructors. My lessons are focused, practical, and built around your goals, whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, breaking through a plateau, learning music theory without confusion, writing songs, performing with confidence, or preparing for professional band and touring work. I offer extended lesson times for deeper progress at $70 for 70 minutes or $50 for 45 minutes, and students choose me not because I’m the cheapest, but because they want clarity, momentum, and results. My goal isn’t just to teach you songs—it’s to give you the tools, confidence, and direction to become an independent musician who knows how to keep growing long after the lesson ends. Discounts are available for Active Military, Educators, EMS/Fire, Police, Retirees, and student referrals, and availability is limited, so if you’re ready to stop guessing, start improving, and actually enjoy your progress, reach out today and let’s get you playing at a higher level.

Josh McCulloch is a very talented, goal-orientated musician and music industry professional. As a musician, his talent level is exceedingly high; with the proven ability to play any genre of music. He has further proven himself as a strong band leader, musician, arranger, stage performer, and industry professional. His background education & experience as a studio engineer and music manager, combined with his musical talent, makes him a young, growing leader in the entertainment business. In the 20 years I have worked in the music business, I have rarely seen the talent level of someone so young & driven. I had the pleasure of working with Josh as the Artist Manager of one of his bands, and I would gladly work with him again. I highly recommend Josh McCulloch; for anyone who works with him will not be disappointed.
