Highly Recommend!!! AJ captured my surprise engagement perfectly. He worked with me to find a location and time in South Lake Tahoe. He was there early and was all set up. He stayed in contact with me the entire process and was very detailed. I’m new to Tahoe but with his guidance it went perfect! The photos came out amazing. I’m glad I chose the video as it came out better than I expected. AJ is the real deal. The price matched the quality of work and the amount of work he put in to prepare me. All around great experience with AJ photography. He knows the Tahoe area very well and listen to our vision and picked out the perfect spot for our shoot. He was responsive throughout our engagement and the day of, was on time and spent additional time with us to ensure we got the right photos. Our photos are absolutely stunning! My fiancé and I knew we wanted our engagement shoot at Yosemite, but given winter season, the short window and thus last minute searching, we weren't sure we would able to make it happen. While shopping around for a photographer, Armando stood out: he was quick to respond, offered more examples of past work in Yosemite, and proposed alternatives because the snow prohibited access to specific locations we wanted to shoot in. He also mapped out a possible trek on a map and even drove to check on the roads to see if they were still closed as we neared the day of our photoshoot (sadly they were still blocked). With our luck, the weather gods decided to bring on heavy rain the entire day of our photoshoot (despite the weather forecast showing clear skies the week prior), but that did not deter Armando. He was a TROOPER and powered through as he took our photos while it poured on all of us. With a game plan and a kind attitude, he promptly directed us to each of our selected locations, checking in on us occasionally to make sure we were okay. The rain sucked, but it made for a memorable adventure for all of us, and epic, moody shots from Armando. Bonus: by the time we got back home the day after our shoot, the sneak peeks were already waiting in our inbox. Not only was he quick to send his favorite shots, but he also accommodated our request for a quick turnaround (we asked if we could get the full gallery in 1 week instead of his usual 2 because we wanted to use the photos for our Save the Dates). My only regret (and to no fault of his) was that I didn't provide a vision board for the type of shots I wanted. Regardless, we loved some of the shots and would recommend Armando to others.

Armando was amazing!! A pleasure to work with him. He caught our engagement perfectly on camera and I couldn’t be happier with the photos 🤍 He is so professional, punctual and knowledgeable when it came to choosing a location for the photos, he knows the good spots!
