- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is dependent on the size and scope of the project and how many illustrations are required. I do not charge by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out what the project entails, if there is a deadline in mind, if the client is open to different medium or the combination of two-dimensional work combined with digital work. I try to get a sense of what the client has in mind for what they think the end result should look like, then I try to replicate it with a process of research, sketches, a period of touch-ups or redos based on client's input on the sketches, then the final illustration(s).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a Bachelors degree with honors in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.
