We were looking to set up a non profit organization for a youth football club that we were getting ready to establish when we went to Jeff for assistance. Jeff not only walked us through what was required, but basically took the lead in ensuring all the proper paperwork was filed and process appropriately (both state and Federal). For someone who was totally unfamiliar with the process he took all the worry and stress out of the process. He continues to make himself available as needed to answer questions as they come up. He has been an invaluable and integral part in us establishing our organization.

This is a complete waste of time and money. Jeff works for several companies and overcommits to the work he takes on. The price is three times what it should be for the quality of work performed. I paid him thousands and he never took the time to go over the reports with me. Jeff blamed me for "negative reviews" and held my accounts hostage while charging me monthly fees. Stay away from Excel Financial Consultants and Jeff Peterson! Your small business cannot afford this unless you want to go under. I would gladly discuss this experience with anyone who contacts me to save you from the horrible experience I have endured with this "company"

We tried everything to satisfy your needs, including fronting payroll for your employees and even waiting over a year to get reimbursed for our out of pocket expenses as well as payment for all the work that we did. I find it odd that this review is posted 6 months after we went our separate ways. In January I turned everything over to you and we have not had any communication since then. I even spoke with two different accounting firms you hired in order to catch them up to speed on your books. We take great pride in helping our clients with their business needs and we have many satisfied clients. In fact, most of our new clients are from referrals. Our clients stay with us for many years and repeatedly express their satisfaction with our services. As the President of this company, I take great pride in knowing that we help our clients with all of their bookkeeping, financial reporting, and business consulting needs. Everything is tailored specifically to each client, depending on what their needs are. We are very flexible and willing to work with all clients, within their budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everything is approached based on each client's needs. If a client needs a lot of attention, Jeff make sure that client has the attention that is needed. If a client prefers to just have things done in the background, then we can do that too.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! As an accountant I am required to do continuing education each year. In addition, being a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I am required to do continuing education and pass multiple exams each year.
