FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started when my dad let me borrow his old Canon camera at the age of eleven. I was hooked on it that weekend when I took a photo of a vintage Shwinn road bike half buried and topped with snow. My dad bought me a digital camera for Christmas and for the past seventeen years it's been with me through my adolescence and into adulthood
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with many different people. People who all had a need that I was able to meet. I've worked with African Americans, people with developmental disabilities, older women, young actors, Persians and Hispanic people. People who were getting married, proposing, throwing a birthday party, a quinceañera, a bridal shower, Christmas photos, headshots, a folk festival, a film, an open streets bike event, a lunar festival, a retirement party. I've worked with many people on many events but thankfully all of them have been very friendly. I'd love to work with you, and add your name and event to my list. Just check out a sampling of my work.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Judge your next hire based on three things: their reviews, their work and the way they talk about their services and how they will take care of you as their client. If they can assure you that people who have worked with them are happy, their work is good and they make you important, you know you've found the right photographer.
