I got a quote from another electrician outside of thumbtack that I thought was high, so I used Thumbtack. Roy Electric contacted me, provided a rock-solid estimate for the work to add a new dedicated circuit, run wire, install a new GFCI disconnect, and connect it all to our hot tub on the patio. They pulled a permit and we are getting it inspected. They were timely and did good work after understanding what I wanted. They provided an estimate from photos and measurements and came on time and did it for the agreed price for much lower than the original "other electrician." I would reccommend and use again.

In order to sell our house, we needed to have an outlet in our kitchen rewired. They called in advance to let us know they were on the way. When they arrived, they immediately introduced themselves and gave a business card. They quickly went to work and fixed the outlet within 15 minutes. It looked great and helped get our house sold!

Had issue with outdoor outlets not working. I interviewed several electricians. Many offered to replace the outlets. Steven Roy basically diagnosed the real issue right on the phone. I hired the one who knew what he was talking about. He was prompt, and got the job done quickly (it was a quick fix). The only thing I didn't like was the minimum charge, as it was simple. But, like I said, I paid for someone who wasn't going to give me the run-around on the issue.
