- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about their gear first. A solid professional uses only state of the art, quality music equipment. Some karaoke providers and DJs try to slip by with shabby gear, purchased from Craig's List or donated from their cousin. Poor cables, old outdated box speakers, plastic microphones. I've seen the worst and the best. Also, make sure that your professional has some sophistication with people. You don't want to hire anyone who would embarrass you in front of your guests. Your hire should be poised with people, personable, well spoken and well groomed.
