FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lots of techs will either charge really high (geek squad, tech2u, etc) or they will low ball to get you in then tack on fees for every little thing. With me its flat labor rate for basic computer repair of $65 for repair + cost of any hardware or software needed for both on site or in office repair. On more advanced jobs like websites, server config and office networking these need to have a proper estimates done to give you an idea of thee scope of project. The estimate cost $30 but if you decide to go ahead with the job it will be deducted from the total cost of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I not only keep my certifications up to date each year i also attend several workshops all year long to keep up to date with this ever changing technology industry

There are allot in the "computer repair" business just to rip you off check there website and if you don't feel right don't leave your computer with them. Also verify they have a business licence and that you get paperwork about your computer if you leave it with them
