FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are fair, but competitive. I will itemize almost everything for you to see in the estimate. If you see something that you don't want or need, we can remove from the bid.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will usually ask to do a free estimate, where I can pull measurements for myself. At that time, it will give me an opportunity to get specifics on the project and answer any questions you might have. After the estimate, I will send over the bid, usually within 24 hours. Should you decide to choose me as your contractor, we will schedule a date to start. If materials are needed, I will usually ask for a payment for the materials, which will be its own invoice. Depending on the time frame I give you for the duration of the job, I will either ask for a half payment, using my tools as collateral and remaing balance upon completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
5 years in the Tile Union (IUBAC) and 17 years doing Hardwoood Flooring.
