Read reviews that mention:
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm $35.00 for a 1 hr lesson in studio, $120.00 a month for (4)-1 hr lessons in studio. $60.00 for a 1 hr lesson to your address within a 20 mile radius. $140.00 a month for (4) 1 hr remote lessons. (Online) With Zoom, Google Meet or FaceTime.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New students with no experience, I think are the easiest to work with, because I could detail a lesson close to the text and know there learning something new. I do a presentation of the history of the piano and composers, proper posture and fingering, getting to know the piano first is important, from there I prepare a structured lesson plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had community college, but my best training came from private lessons. In my high school years, I was given the opportunity to work in the music store that accommodated my lessons, In turn, besides working behind the counter, I was taught to teach students who applied for piano lessons from the store. I went on to tutoring classmates in my high school music class. I've played live music for 40 yrs, I'm currently working with a commercial artist and doing recording work as well with students.
