Introduction: Terri Tubolino, PTA LMT is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Massage Therapist in the States NC, CO, NY, VA and TX. She has been providing rehabilitative services, including therapeutic massage, to those receiving total joint replacements since she graduated college in upstate NY in 2010. She is able to provide relief for those with other orthopedic conditions including tendinitis, overuse injuries and sprains. Those diagnosed with Parkinsonism’s, Post cerebrovascular accident (CVA) and Alzheimer’s disease have also benefitted from her work. She also offers Hot Stone, Pre and Post Natal Massage, Deep Tissue, Medical and Sports Massage. She provides personalized home stretches and therapeutic exercises to clients receiving therapeutic massage for rehabilitative goals and mobility deficits. Clients whom benefit from Terri’s Therapeutic Massage range from young athletes, worker's compensation cases, to the geriatric population.A running enthusiast, Terri has a passion for chronic movement disorders. She acknowledges the need for active and passive movement in addition to personalized touch for the ease of many deficits. Her training in running and athletic training gives her a unique insight as to how and why the body works the way it does, and her instructing background helps her strive to educate her clients as to how massage therapy can help them and how to continue to help themselves once the massage therapy session is over. Terri earned over 1000 hours in training in both rehabilitative and massage therapy including the following studies: Anatomy, Kinesiology, Shiatsu, Orthopedic Conditions, Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Swedish Massage, Shiatsu, Reiki, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Pre/Post Natal Massage, Sports and Orthopedic Massage: She is an active member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) as well as American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
