Hi, I’m Jennifer, the photographer behind Rare Rose Photography! I’ve been photographing weddings, families, couples, seniors, and special events for 10+ years. I’m based in Altamont, NY, and serve the Capital Region, Adirondacks, Berkshires, Southern Vermont, and beyond. My approach is simple: I want you to have beautiful photographs without spending your entire day posing. I’ll give you direction when you need it while leaving room for the real moments—the laughs, happy tears, and little details you may not notice until you see your gallery. For weddings, I offer flexible hourly coverage and custom options, including rehearsal dinners, additional wedding-day coverage, engagement sessions, and portraits with visiting family and friends.Every wedding is different, so I don’t believe everyone needs the same package. Travel outside my primary service area and multi-location sessions are available and may require additional coverage time or a travel fee. Contracts and non-refundable retainers are required to reserve your date, and payment plans are available. I’m fully insured and currently booking 2027 weddings, elopements, engagements, families, seniors, and events.
