About

Hi my name is Jaf and I am a guitar and bass instructor. I’ve worked with hundreds of students of all ages for over 30 years, teaching genres such as rock, classic rock, metal, blues, funk, classical and jazz. Music theory is also a big focus. You’ll be able to write your own riffs and songs in no time. I’m friendly, comfortable to be around, and patient, making lessons enjoyable, but still serious enough to make sure you are learning a lot. I’ll have my students playing parts of their favorite songs on our first lesson. Making music is empowering and is to be enjoyed. That’s always been my goal, to make sure my students feel the same joy I feel when I play.
