About
Online/Remote or In Person Tutoring.
My services include tutoring students in all levels of math. This includes grade school math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Logic, etc. I also tutor in physics. I help prepare students for general class tests and other tests such as Regents and SAT/ACT Math.
I so often see people having difficulties in specific areas of math, sometimes little, sometimes big. Certain students may get confused based on the subject matter. My goal is too get you to really understand the basics and fundamentals of the subject. Once a foundation is built, your learning ability automatically increases, and understanding problems and solving problems greatly improves.
I've been tutoring for over 20 years, and my results have always been good. I always try to make learning fun in a nice, relaxed, comfortable environment, where you do not feel pressured.
Math is and always has been one of my greatest passions. Problem solving is something I naturally enjoy doing. And there is no better thrill than experiencing someone learning from a me and really understanding math, and hopefully liking it as much as I do.
Hope to have the chance to help you.

Jaffar has been an invaluable math tutor for my family for the past four years. He initially worked with my son during his 10th and 11th grades, guiding him through the challenges of geometry. Thanks to Jaffar's support, my son not only passed his geometry Regents but also achieved a good score. Now, Jaffar is tutoring my daughter, who is currently in 10th grade, and the results speak for themselves. Despite struggling to understand her math teachers sometimes, my daughter consistently excels in her math classes with Jaffar's guidance. His ability to connect with students and make complex topics understandable is remarkable.I am incredibly grateful for his support and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a math tutor.

I am extremely pleased with the math tutoring services. 4 of my children have received math assistance and all of them have made excellent progress as a result. Their tutor simplified the math in a unique manner in which their teachers were unable to do. I 100% recommend these math tutoring experts.

My daughter was in serious geometry trouble this past spring. She got a 34 on her midterm, the second semester wasn’t much better, and a busy sports schedule made it hard for her to catch up.
I reached out to Jaf in late May almost out of desperation, hoping that if my child got some personalized instruction in some key areas, she might have a shot at passing. Nobody wants to pay a lot for tutoring of course, but it was a reasonable price — certainly easier to swallow than the cost and stress associated with any tutoring we’d have needed before taking the Regents again in August.
Jaf came to our house about five times and after each session, the material started to click a little bit more. While it’s impossible to cover a year’s worth of material in four weeks, he helped her to understand the Regents, understand her strengths and weaknesses, and identified what she could work on in order to pass. In the end, that’s exactly what she needed.
Thankfully, my daughter passed, and I can honestly say it wouldn’t have happened without Jaf. We are very grateful for Jaf, and I recommend him to anyone whose child needs extra help with geometry.
