I am now only accepting smaller projects which require my personal attention. Still covering the basic home repairs and "Honey - do - lists". More of the artistic projects are desired to keep my new studio busy. I'm preparing for new art classes to open this year. Including "party" type art lessons. Thumbtack rated as top service provider for the second year running! 2015 and 2016 This is a great honor. What it means is people can trust in their projects being done in a safe an courteous manner. Erik Johnsen did a Superb Job. He recognized areas that needed work which the other estimators didn't and was very reasonable on cost. Communication was excellent. He also adapted very well to snags from the original plan. Areas completed were plumbing, drywall, tile, painting, removing & replacing toilet & sink and pressure testing. I was very satisfied.

Erik has taken on the role of my #1 handyman. He is the guy I now call in case I need ANYTHING fixed or installed. He fixed my kitchen sink, replaced my bathroom sink faucets, fixed an electrical problem that he later found out was dangerous (thank God). He also fixed 2 of our toilets. In a few weeks he is going to fix my back door and weather stripping because the foundation settled and created a space in between the door and frame. Next year, he may be re-doing my concrete deck and making it look more decorative around the pool.

We had pine floors put in two rooms of our house and thought that we could stain and poly them on our own. My husband started in the smaller of the two rooms and really messed things up! I decided to try to find a professional and have them fix the mistake and complete the staining and poly in both rooms. I stumbled across thumbtack and received a few estimates very quickly. We are so happy that we went with Erik. After speaking with him we decided to hire him. He saved our floors! He was here when he said he would be and finished on time! His rates were very reasonable and we feel that he did an excellent job. He is a great guy, does wonderful work and we will definitely think of him the next time we have a project that needs to be done.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Text your information to my phone so that I can use GPS to find out how far away I am to schedule appointments. I can give fairly close estimates over the phone on most projects. I pick up materials on the way and make repairs in as short a time as possible. Customers can pay in many ways even credit cards
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
