Hi! Welcome to Princeton School of Chess!
My name is Savetha CH and I'm a professional chess player. Current USCF rating: 2124 (as per April 2025 list) I've been playing chess since 1997 and I love what I do!
I focus on quality teaching on a 1 on 1 basis (via Zoom) and making your learning experience the best to improve your chess skills.
The puzzles I provide is customized to the needs/goals of each of my students.
The lessons include:
-Online materials
-Game Analysis
-Tournament game analysis (helps to learn from your mistakes)
-Homework
I will take the time to make sure you are 100% happy and you will see the difference on my hands on approach.

Coach Savetha is very nice and friendly; she works well with young kids ! my 5 year old enjoyed her lessons and always had fun with her ! She is very interactive and informative while teaching ! Good coach and definitely recommend her !!

Savetha was able to walk me through many new actionable concepts, even if it was only our first lesson. She was very professional, responsive, and patient. At the end of the lesson, I received lesson notes and homework materials, which are very good for practice. I would definitely recommend her!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I've been playing chess professionally for over 20 years and for that reason, my students find me trustworthy. If quality and proven results is your key component, then I am definitely your best choice. I listen to you and what you need in every class, and work with you to find the best and most efficient way of learning.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step I take is to get to know a little bit about the new student and also evaluate his/her level of understanding in opening, middle game and endgame. The classes are strategically designed to meet the students' needs. You will receive all the materials via email for future reference. What do you need? You need a connection to the internet, laptop, desktop, or smartphone and a chess board.
