Because I incorporate different techniques for each client. there is no one size fits all with me. I tailor each application, complete with skincare and makeup especially for that client and listen to their needs and preferences. I am constantly working on a variety of faces and building and developing my craft. I love doing makeup! but i also love a great client/artist interaction.i love educating people about tips, tricks, and techniques. I also love it when i see that look on the clients face when I'm finished that says "wow! I look great!" it changes their whole attitude :)

Nicole first did my make up for my babyshower. She's so sweet, I didn't have to give much direction, just showed her my outfit and told her to do her thing. When she was done I looked in the mirror and LOVED IT! Truly picture perfect. My photos came out amazing thanks to her, and honestly, I got compliments ALL DAY about how great my makeup looked! LOVE THAT GIRL! A true talent.

If you're looking for a talented and professional make-up artist, Nicole is your woman. I have pretty bad skin and not only did she do a fantastic job with my face and make-up, she took the time to educate me on make-up application, my skin and products. She's went through all natural looks as well as how to turn it up and turn it into a night look. I highly suggest her services and she funny as hell too! Comfort and Glam, yes please!

After working with quite a few make-up artists in the past, Nicole V. Rivera, a.k.a. faceNV, is the most talented and professional cosmetic artist I have encountered yet. I had the privileged to collaborate with her on several occasions, and every outcome has been beyond favorable. Her presence on set has always been reassuring, relaxed and essentially pleasant. Whenever I am scheduling a MUA for one of my many fashion/beauty photo-shoots, she is the first person I contact and the only person I am willing to accommodate my schedule to hers. She is always able to perform every task and request I ask from her with sheer perfection. As a fashion photographer, this is absolutely crucial. I only hope I will have the honor to create beautiful imagery with her for years to come.

Nicole is a fantastic make-up artist. She is consistently professional and is a pleasure to work with. FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Basically its $50 and hour and a $300 full day rate. $150 for 1/2 day rate. Bridal is 30 for each trial and 100 the day of. 40 for each additional face (bridesmaids etc.) I am also willing to negotiate for special circumstances. You may email me directly if you have questions.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It is something that calls to me. I simple love it and will always be connected to makeup. I am dedicated because I consider it a gift that I have invested with my own proactive education. To me it is art. It can be functional and practical as well. I like to blend the 2 a lot.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of makeup I do is probably bridal in addition to makeup for the everyday person. I also freelance for major brands so I get to talk to and meet new people everyday. I've gotten to know how to handle real people- not just models with perfect (and sometimes not so perfect) skin. I really listen to what my clients are saying.
