Josh is a total superstar! There are so many great things I can say about him, so I will try to keep it concise. I was hosting my first barbecue for 20 friends. Despite the fact that I was alarmingly close to my event date (only within 48 hours notice), Josh was super responsive and, in lightning speed, got the full grocery list, obtained all items and arrived early and promptly to the event to have everything prepared in classy fashion! I was freaking out because it was my first barbecue and I didn’t know how to organize one, nevertheless how much food, drink, condiments and utensils would be needed to keep all of my guests happy. I kept remembering how he constantly reassured me, “I’ll take care of everything.” And he sure did. The grill, work station, utensils and all were set up way in advance by him, and burgers and dogs were laid on the grill perfectly in time for when the first guest arrived. He made the picanha steaks made-to-order, which helped each guests have their own unique dining experience. Later we humbly discovered that Josh Koplitz was a chef for Thomas Keller, the owner of the famous Michelin three-star Per Se restaurant. Although I found out later that barbecues aren’t even his specialty, not one steak was left at the end of the barbecue because my guests loved the steaks so much, it was a hit! He was very engaging with my crowd too and made everyone feel comfortable while enjoying the fresh comfort food. In fact, several of my guests asked for his contact info because they loved him so much, they themselves want to hire him for their own events in the future! I agree with them!
