I highly recommend Sue as a piano teacher. Sue does an amazing job of being organized and diligent as a teacher. Each lesson, Sue always made she the lessons she provided me were in line with my goals. She gave technical exercises to practice, such as drilling chord voicings, rhythms for particular genres such as Bossanova, etc. She assigned classical pieces to learn to keep up with technique as well. She also assigned jazz songs that fit the topics we were discussing. Following lessons, Sue would send an email with a summary of everything we worked on and what to practice for the week. Sue is also responsive during the week if any questions come up. Sue is an amazing musician and teacher. Anyone would be lucky to have the opportunity to study under her!

I am taking piano in my 70s and I don’t learn as fast as a youngster or have as much time to practice. Sue is very patient and creative in her teaching and I have a very good experience in every lesson.
