FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please contact us for pricing details. Prices depend on location, lesson length, and several other factors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most parents first contact us with general questions about music lessons. We travel to our students, so it’s important that we discuss the instrument the student wants to learn, where the student lives, and the student’s schedule. We also like to find out more about the student’s learning style and any prior music lesson experiences to make a great match with one of our excellent instructors. From there, we check with our teachers about availability in the student’s area. We then send the parent more information about an instructor who we think will be a good match. We encourage students to have a lesson with the teacher. We don’t require semester commitments, so there is no obligation (beyond paying for the session). Students then handle scheduling and makeups directly with the instructor. Most students work with us long-term as they discover learning music is fun when a great teacher is there to guide them in the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied music for my entire life. I have years of training in voice, piano, and acting and have been teaching for over a decade. I majored in musical theatre in college and have performed all over the country. I also developed my teaching skills with many top companies in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago before starting my own business.
