My husband and I found Allan on Thumbtack when we needed an officiant for our wedding. We didn’t know what we wanted other than someone who could make the ceremony fun and joyful, as well as emotional and deep. When we first talked with Allan, he was very kind and very professional. We liked his charisma and the reviews we had read about his work. He won us over with his extensive background and knowledge with officiating weddings and his ceremony style. He described exactly what we wanted. The actual ceremony was amazing. Allan’s energy lit up the entire audience, as well as my husband and I. The questionnaire he gave us to fill out worked out perfectly for how he wrote his script for our ceremony. We could tell he put a lot of time and effort into what he wrote and he was very detail oriented. After the ceremony we had so many guests telling us how great he was and asking us how we found him, and some guests even thought we knew him before hand because of how personally detailed his script was. One thing we wish was different was that with our questionnaire, I had mentioned a friend of mine who should be highlighted in our story, but then soon before the wedding we unfortunately had a falling out, so I had asked Allan to make sure their name wasn’t mentioned in the script. He responded quickly that that would be no problem, but while we were up at the altar, the persons name was said. This doesn’t change our overall 5 star rating, but it was important to us that their name was not said. With that being said, Allan and Extraordinary Weddings did an outstanding job and we will definitely recommend him to couples in the future!

Allan was an excellent officiant, and followed our instructions very well. He made it a very personalized experience, was punctual, and was pleasurable to work with. Everybody was laughing so hard, and I was told by many people that he was a wonderful officiant.

Allan was fantastic! We are so happy we found him. The entire wedding was a complete disaster from start to finish (including our professional photographer not showing up and our cake being delivered all-white with zero decor!), and Allan saved us. He was on time, excellently dressed, very friendly and helpful, and his speech was to die for, everyone loved it! We laughed, we cried, and we were left with amazing memories. I also want to mention that Allan was amazing communicating with us all the way ahead of the wedding - he was very responsive, and made lots of great suggestions to make our day a great one! Thank you so much!

Allan was super easy to work with, very friendly and punctual, and most of all he did an amazing job officiating our wedding! He brought the humor and he did such a good job in getting to know us that our guests think we've known him for years when he told everyone our story! He was one of the best parts of our wedding and we sincerely recommend him for yours!

Allan was truly a pleasure to work with for our wedding. Our guests loved his humor, and saw how perfectly he captured me and my husband’s personalities and quirks.
