I couldn't have asked for a better agent during strange times. I met Carlene in the early part of Feb of 2020 to assist me in selling my late father's home. I needed some work done to get it into shape to put on the market. Carlene had a few contractors in mind to do the work and we were ready to roll. Then the COVID lockdowns kicked in. It didn't so much delay the work on the house as it did when we could put the house on the market. Per Carlene's advice, I waited and I'm glad I did. All the while I was out of state, Carlene periodically checked on the property and gave my timely reports. Even when there was a contractor issue, she stayed cool under pressure and found replacements to get the job done right. When things opened up Carlene advised when to put the house on the market. She had professional pictures taken, a cleaning service come through as well as someone to maintain the landscaping. She then worked tirelessly to navigate all the COVID requirements to provide multiple in-person showings. Which resulted in multiple offers. In the end, the house was sold for the asking price and I was more than happy with Carlene's results. It took me some time to get this review out since the house closed (Aug). But I wanted to match the effort in writing this as Carlene put in selling my dad's house. If I lived in Long Island I would definitely seek her services for future real estate needs.
