I was a former patron of the original Cornbread & Caviar restaurant. The Aviance was outstanding & the food was even better. It sincerely broke my heart when they shut their doors. However my disappointed was short lived when I found out they had formed a catering service. Chef Carlton and his staff have since catered my sister pre wedding party to high aclaim. Since then his oxtails have been a staple at my family's thanksgiving celebrations. I was plesently surprised with his lasagna dish just this past Christmas. They even bake! Most important is their consistency. I've never had a bad experience. A very good and diverse menu. 5 star rating!

I have had several events catered by Cornbread & Cavier and I have also had dinner at the resturant. They were very pleasant experiences each time. The food was delicious and the total dining experience was wonderful. Chef Karlton and his staff were very professional and aim to make your total dining an experiencesomething you will not forget.

Karlton is the consummate professional. And to top it off, his food is delicious and beautifully presented. We loved his german chocolate and red velvet cakes so much, that my daughter requested that we use Cornbread & Caviar to cater her formal 21st birthday event at Remsen Hall in Brooklyn, NY, last February. We were truly impressed with the level of professionalism and the quality of service and our guests are still ranting and raving! We couldn't have made a better choice.

My family used Cornbread & Caviar for one of our holiday dinners. We had an amazing meal! It was like having all of your favorite dishes at one time! My ultimate favorite from that day was the roast beef. It was the most tender piece of beef I ever had; accompanied by the perfect balance of gravy. It was all I wanted for several days after. Cornbread & Caviar will be my choice in the future.
