- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Well, The customer should realize that each venue that security services is needed requires different fee's such as if the event is in Manhattan or N. J. there are toll fee's also parking fee's for equipment and transportation for the event. If the event is booked at the last minute such as 12 hours before the event there is a logistics problem for me as the professional providing the security services which I must reschedule with no time causing me to lose money that is why a $50.00 late fee is added. The event must be booked two full days before the event. If it is booked a month in advance and it is for four days at 32 hours or more a discount of $100.00 on the fee's will be given.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with new customers I talk to them and find out the details including read between the lines of an assignment. At the sametime, I putting their mind at ease about the reason they need my services in the first place and work with them like we are a team solving a problem.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in 1992 as a school security guard for Bay Shore School Union Free School District.
