We hired GH Electric to install recessed lighting for our basement theater, and they absolutely nailed it. From the start, they understood the design we were looking.

GH Electric did a great job installing my new Tesla charger and wired in a few security cameras for me. The guys are professional, courteous, and clean. My garage is unfinished and I wanted my Tesla charger in a particular spot that didn't have any support behind it. Most electricians would tell you that you need to have a carpenter come and add support before they could mount it. However, because they and Greenwich Handyman are they same company, they just called one of the "handymen" over, installed the support and the electricians were off to the races. Don't hesitate to give them a call. Great guys, very convenient.

Simon never hired us for any work. He contacted us through Thumbtack asking us to "come take a look" at a lighting issue, and we clearly informed him, up front, that we have a $250 minimum service call fee, which is listed directly on our Thumbtack profile and has been since day one.
He replied that he’d only pay if the issue was solved, which we politely declined because that's not how professional service businesses operate. You’re not paying for a guaranteed outcome, you’re paying for time, experience, and professional evaluation to determine the issue and come up with a solution.
Simon then left a one-star review, not because of poor service (we never performed any), but because he didn’t like that we wouldn’t come troubleshoot his system for free. That’s not honest feedback...that’s retaliation.
We’re a small, licensed company that operates with integrity. We treat every client with respect, and we don’t play games with pricing. The fee was posted clearly. If Simon missed that, that’s unfortunate, but it doesn’t justify damaging our reputation.
We stand by how we handled this interaction and wish him well.
