Dr. Howard Gurr

Introduction: Dr. Howard Gurr is a clinical psychologist who deals with children, adolescents, and adults. He helps individuals and families deal with problems, and develop new coping skills to handle their life issues. He has earned two master's degrees in psychology, and a Ph.D. in Professional Psychology, and a dual specialization in School and Clinical Psychology. He's both a licensed psychologist as well as a certified school psychologist in New York State. For over 25 years, Dr. Howard Gurr has been associated with school districts, clinics, and hospitals on Long Island. Dr. Howard Gurr is also a member of many professional groups, and he was a member of the Nassau County Psychological Association's Executive Board. Dr. Howard Gurr has been a graduate students' field supervisor from local universities and colleges. He has been seen on television, heard on the radio, quoted in newspapers, and he has also written articles, regarding a huge range of psychologically-related topics.
