About
Hello Students! I began my LSAT journey at a 143 and worked my way through a 152, a 158, a 165, and ultimately a 180. That progression matters, because it means I didn’t start out with an intuitive or natural advantage—I built my score deliberately, step by step, by identifying weaknesses, correcting flawed reasoning habits, and refining my approach over time. Having experienced each major score plateau firsthand, I understand exactly what blocks students at different stages, whether it’s basic argument comprehension, conditional reasoning, timing issues, or the subtle mistakes that separate high-160s from elite scores. As a tutor, I focus on building durable analytical skills that transfer across questions and sections. I emphasize understanding why correct answers must be correct and why wrong answers are designed to look appealing, which helps students gain confidence and consistency under timed conditions. Students who work with me typically leave sessions with a clear plan, a sharper understanding of their mistakes, and concrete strategies they can immediately apply on future sections. My approach is structured, methodical, and adaptable to each student’s current score range and learning style. Because I’ve personally navigated the full improvement arc, I can diagnose problems quickly and explain concepts in ways that actually click. I know how frustrating it can be to feel “stuck,” and I also know that meaningful improvement comes from disciplined reasoning rather than brute repetition. My goal is not just to raise scores, but to teach students how to think the way the LSAT demands. Rather than assigning endless problem sets, I focus on deliberate analysis. This approach helps students develop independence and confidence. Whether you’re aiming to break into the 150s, push into the 160s, or refine a strong score into an elite one, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward efficiently and confidently. I look forward to working with you!

After working with Branden for 4 months, this experience has changed my outlook on the LSAT, making me more confident as a student and as a future lawyer. Beginning with Branden, my diagnostic LSAT score was a 155. However, after breaking down the basics, using personalized study programs, and carefully drilling, I increased my score by 14 points! I recently got my November LSAT score back, where I got a 169!! Having a learning disability, I was very nervous to embark on this journey, but after working with Branden, I am more confident than ever. If you are even considering working with a tutor, I cannot recommend this service enough.

Branden is an amazing tutor. He is incredibly patient and knowledgeable. His curriculum is digestible and helps you understand the LSAT on a deeper level through a step by step approach. I looked forward to our meetings and very quickly saw increased confidence in my abilities and score. With the help of Branden I increased 12 points from my diagnostic score and was practice testing even higher than my official score. I couldnt recommend LSAT Nexus enough!

I cant recommend Branden enough. I first tried studying for the LSAT on my own, but I had no direction and struggled to stay motivated. After scoring a 168 in September, I reached out to him less than five weeks before my November retake. In that short time he helped me jump to a PT high score of 177 a few days before the official exam. Through targeted LR work and clear identification of my weak spots, he has made the test feel almost intuitive. Hes also genuinely kind and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable working through problems and explaining my thought processes from the very beginning, and even when I was frustrated, he stayed encouraging and never let me feel anything less than capable. He struck the perfect balance between offering support and pushing me to think independently. I havent received my November score yet (Ill update this when I do!), but I went into the exam calm, confident, and fully prepared, and Im not anxious waiting for the results, which says everything.

Thank you so much, Mary — that means a lot. You put in such incredible focus these past few weeks, and it showed in how quickly everything started to click. I really admired how you trusted the process, stayed open to feedback, and kept pushing even when things got tough. Seeing your confidence and calm going into the exam was honestly the best part. I’m so proud of the progress you made, and I can’t wait to hear how the official score turns out!
