About
Hello Students! I began my LSAT journey at a 143 and worked my way through a 152, a 158, a 165, and ultimately a 180. That progression matters, because it means I didn’t start out with an intuitive or natural advantage—I built my score deliberately, step by step, by identifying weaknesses, correcting flawed reasoning habits, and refining my approach over time. Having experienced each major score plateau firsthand, I understand exactly what blocks students at different stages, whether it’s basic argument comprehension, conditional reasoning, timing issues, or the subtle mistakes that separate high-160s from elite scores. As a tutor, I focus on building durable analytical skills that transfer across questions and sections. I emphasize understanding why correct answers must be correct and why wrong answers are designed to look appealing, which helps students gain confidence and consistency under timed conditions. Students who work with me typically leave sessions with a clear plan, a sharper understanding of their mistakes, and concrete strategies they can immediately apply on future sections. My approach is structured, methodical, and adaptable to each student’s current score range and learning style. Because I’ve personally navigated the full improvement arc, I can diagnose problems quickly and explain concepts in ways that actually click. I know how frustrating it can be to feel “stuck,” and I also know that meaningful improvement comes from disciplined reasoning rather than brute repetition. My goal is not just to raise scores, but to teach students how to think the way the LSAT demands. Rather than assigning endless problem sets, I focus on deliberate analysis. This approach helps students develop independence and confidence. Whether you’re aiming to break into the 150s, push into the 160s, or refine a strong score into an elite one, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward efficiently and confidently. I look forward to working with you!

Branden was able to explain essential concepts in a truly digestible and fundamental way that many other services lack. He was both easy going enough for sessions to be enjoyable while also maintaining a level of professionalism and accountability that kept me on the right track; with his help I was able to go from scoring in the low to mid 160s to consistently scoring 174+. Would recommend!

Loved working with Branden so much!! His LR study sheets and time breakdowns were so helpful during studying. He helped me breakdown which areas/questions I needed to work on and we targeted those during our zoom sessions. He makes the test seem less intimidating and more easily paced than before. I would absolutely recommend him to others if they are starting the process of studying for the LSAT.

Branden from LSAT Nexus was a great tutor. I had never really studied before beginning tutoring with him about 8 weeks prior to the test. He gave me great study materials that explained key concepts and allowed me to better understand the structure of the test. He also provided in depth, manageable study plans that helped me organize and plan my time well given my relatively short study period. As we got closer to the test date, he also gave me helpful, concrete recommendations to help maximize my test performance. I ended up doing better on the test than I had on any practice test I credit Brandens helpful test day suggestions for this result. I would strongly recommend him and LSAT Nexus to anyone looking for specific, personalized guidance on the LSAT, particularly in a narrow studying window!

I appreciate you taking the time to write this! Preparing for the LSAT is a challenge, especially when you are starting without much previous studying. I was genuinely impressed with your consistency in the application of what we covered in lessons. Additionally, hearing that the materials and study plans made the process feel more organized and manageable means a lot to me. I’m especially happy that you performed better on the actual test than you had on any practice test. That is an incredible accomplishment, and you earned it through the work and commitment you brought to the process. It was a privilege to be part of your preparation, and I truly appreciate your recommendation.
