Adam performed at our community event and he brought the house down. Again! We hired him a couple years ago and he came back. This time with new material. He got rave reviews from our members, just like last time, talked a lot with the audience during the show, and really got the crowd laughing. Lots of fun! Everyone had a blast.

    About this pro

Because after acting, writing, directing, producing, and doing stand-up for 30 years, I'm there to make THIS moment count much more than to use this gig as a stepping stone for the next one. I care more about showing THIS audience a great time, and as many laughs as possible, than about anything else. I like (love) the fact that I have to show up for each day and, even if it's familiar material, do something new. The people in the room and I share the event...built from scratch that day...and just this once. I love that all the experience I've had comes into play, but also gets thrown out the window so I can hear and see and feel what's going on in the room right now...so I can find the audience's funny-bone THAT day.

      Q & A

      • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak on the phone at some length with a new client, to find out about their event, about the group that will be the audience, and about any guest(s) of honor. I gather as much information as I can so that I'll know what sort of humor will be most enjoyable and most appropriate for the occasion.
      • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read the newspaper and observe my children every damn day! More seriously, I have a BA in Theater from the University of Wisconsin--Madison and I graduated from the Circle in the Square Professional Workshop for Actors (a 2-year conservatory in NYC). I have been working as a professional actor since 1984 and as a professional comedian since 2010
      • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to do this instead of having a mid-life crisis. My wife begged me to please buy a porsche or do her a favor and have an affair ...anything but Comedy! But I couldn't help myself.
Coverage Area for LoHud Comedy is about 150+ miles of Blauvelt, NY.
