I had an excellent experience with AB Elite Contracting and would recommend them highly to anyone in the NYC area. I hired them to install concrete flood barriers and apply waterproofing along several walls in a basement in Manhattan with several art studios after repeated flooding. From the initial free site visit through completion, communication was clear, friendly, and timely. They accommodated my tight schedule, and the owner and entire crew were professional, courteous, and respectful throughout the project.
They arrived exactly when promised, worked efficiently, treated the space with great care, and left everything remarkably clean. The quality of the workmanship exceeded my expectations. They even rebuilt one existing concrete barrier that they felt wasn’t structurally sound, reinforced the new barriers with rebar for added strength, and kept me informed throughout the installation. They also stood behind their work, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with every step of the project.
It’s rare to find a contractor who combines excellent communication, quality workmanship, and genuine professionalism. I’m thrilled with the work they did and wouldn’t hesitate to hire AB Elite again for a future concrete, repair or renovation project.
