FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
As a pianist, people call me to record on their albums or projects. I pay attention to details and constantly analyze my performance. Sometimes, if clients don't have their musical ideas organized, I will also be the arranger and music producer, providing many avenues to approach and achieve a client's vision. If I am arranging, I will first write my musical plans for the pieces, and then I will create notated parts for each individual participating in the production. If my services go into also being the music producer, I will in some cases look for the right session musicians and will guide them to elicit their best possible performances.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently, I arranged and recorded as a pianist with Spanish rock artist, Enrique Bunbury, the Cuban standard "Vete de Mi" popularized by Bola de Nieve for the 2014 Hollywood movie release "Cantinflas."
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone who is presently active in their work, and doesn't advertise their services solely based on their past achievements and projects.
