Introduction: Scott creates modern videos for businesses and individuals who are looking for stylistic and cinematic branding. Each film is custom made for the brand it represents based on the clients vision. Working on both documentary and commercial film, Scott knows how to capture his subjects in their truest form. A native of NYC - Scott began as a photographer and photojournalist before transitioning into film. He is currently working on submitting his latest documentary film into festivals around the US. Scott is primarily a producer and cinematographer, but also has years of experience as a creative director and film editor specializing in narratives, promotional films, video journalism, cooperate interviews, web branded commercials and theatrical documentaries. Scott holds a Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) degree from The School of Visual Arts, a business administration degree from Suffolk University. On all projects - I find myself heavily invested in the work I'm producing. I apply reason, logic and emotion in equal proportion across all aspects on all my work. As a cinematographer it is my responsibility to produce content that is aesthetically appealing to the eye, but also emotionally engaging to the story. I wear multiple hats ensuring my clients are treated well throughout the entire production process.

I highly recommend Scott and hope to work with him again! From our initial preproduction call to day on set, Scott was a pleasure to work with! Professional, creative, easy going and reliable. Could not be happier with how the BTS video (shot + edit) came out!

I hired Scott to film me doing my artwork. I needed this for publicity and for advertising an exhibition that I was going to be in. When I create it is a very personal experience. Scott was able to do this without his getting in my way and he made me comfortable so I did not feel self-conscious. He created an art piece of the art that I was making. He is very professional. The finished film went on the internet and got more hits than I ever expected. I would definitely use Scott again.

Scott edited an exiting video for my homeowner's association. The original, produced by one of the families living here, was of a "home-made" quality. Even though Scott had sub-par material to work with, he edited it to the length we requested and turned it into a very presentable piece of our history. Scott went out of his way to help us, (totally non-tech savvy clients) even making a special trip to our site to make sure we knew how to work the projector. Scott was very agreeable and flexible and we enjoyed working with him. He also kept his fee to what he originally quoted even though he may have spent more time than originally allocated. We feel very comfortable recommending him.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I suggest an initial phone consultation once a client is interested. This will start the relationship, so I can get the necessary details needed for the project. I offer professional advice regarding production needs and technical information. Once we agree on the project - I typically send a transparent estimate for the work I plan on providing. This includes potential dates, services, gear and rates. If the project is scheduled more than 14 days from the initial consultation - I require a deposit to hold the date. This secures our production to avoid scheduling conflicts.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Master of Fine Arts in Film (School of Visual Arts) Certificate in Multimedia & Photography (Salt Institute) BSBA in Entrepreneurial Studies (Suffolk University)
