Introduction: As a young child to the professional I am today, athletics have always been a passion of mine. I love what I do, and it makes helping others acquire skill within sports even more enjoyable. I have been teaching PE for over 12 years, and coaching 3 varsity sports for just as long, totaling presently over 35 seasons of professional coaching experience to date. Whichever the sport of focus, I am confident in just one session together an improvement as an athlete will be more than attainable. The listed sports I specialize in training, I offer equipment from which we can train with during a lesson. If you have a bat, ball, or any other sport related equipment, thats fine to bring, I have things as we progress to use as well. More than just a knowledgeable professional within the field, you get a terrific mentor to line a young student athlete with, who can help navigate many of the thoughts and pressures within the sport he/she may endure.

Coach I took my son to see Coach Kevin for his first baseball lesson of the year this past weekend, and he was so happy when he got back to the car! He mentioned how much fun he had, and how nice of an instructor coach was. He was flexible enough to offer a group rate to train my daughter in softball as well for future sessions, so to be able to get one experienced coach who can handle both, I would highly reccomend.

My sons absolutely loved their first session with Coach Kevin. They are new to baseball as we come from a country where it is not played. Coach Kevin started with the basic technics and vocabulary. By the end of the first hour, I could see their throwing and receiving skills improving. My sons looked like professional players 😉! We will obviously call coach Kevin again, we are thinking of twice a week. Thank you!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have been doing this a very long time, and in one hour session you will see that your time and money invested is well spent. I have over 40+ seasons of paid coaching experience alongside 12 years of full time experience as a Physical Educator, and that all goes into each session we spend together.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First lesson would like to focus on an area of the sport that the athlete would like to improve on. Once there, I can see the baseline skillset within other areas by building off the comforts of what he/she wants to work on 1st. I really enjoy having parents/athletes be in the drivers seat of their own development.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Professional Certification Physical Education teacher K-12 CPR, FA, AED, Concussion BSED Cortland State Univ. Masters Sports Management Grad Certificate in Athletic Administration
