Introduction: If you want to learn how to become a designer or artist, you're on the right path. Just get out there and start making stuff. But if you're not sure where to start, I can help. I'll guide you while you learn new techniques, explore new mediums and get introduced to new analog and digital tools, and document the process. We can work in my studio or I can plan field trips. If you have a specific subject in mind to study or search out, let's create a class or lesson, and if needed, we can contact industry professionals to sit in as guests. I've been professionally working, training and sharing my techniques for more than 15 years in all treks of art: commercial and abstract. You could say I'm a renaissance man who is well versed in a ton of useful tools, willing to teach a trade or craft to individuals looking for private lessons, mentorships and or apprenticeships to the right student. Subjects I can teach and train in are as follows: * Design: Graphics, product, type, and jewelery. * Drawing: Life, still, technical, story boarding and sequential (comic) art. * Illustration: Mixed media and digital. * Printmaking: Technical and various traditional (Depends on available tools). * Photography: Basics, production and studio. * Editing: FCP, Premier and Avid. * Motion Graphics and Animation: After effects, stop-motion and traditional 2-D. * Film Making: Production, scriptwriting, postproduction, etc. * Advertising: Art direction, copyrighting, brand strategy and marketing strategies. * Art History and Theory: Modern art, video art and commercial art. There are many more subjects I could try and teach, but I may not currently have the tools. This list will update as my personal projects evolve as well.
