FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every case and transaction is different, and some require more attention than others. We are typically able to provide you with an accurate estimate of the entire cost of any non-litigation matter during the first consult. Civil Litigation matters are handled on an hourly basis, and are often too unpredictable to provide flat rate fees, but we can provide you with an expected range of cost which most cases will take, which depends on the nature of your case. For criminal matters, we provide two flat fee estimates - one estimate if no trial is required, and an estimate for trial work if it becomes necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule an initial consult to discuss your case. During that consult we inform you of what work we believe your file requires, and if we are willing to accept your case, we provide you with a written retainer agreement and an initial retainer invoice, which must be paid prior to the commencement of work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our attorneys have combined decades of experience handling matters as simple as a will for a small estate and as complex as multi-national contract disputes among global companies.
