Introduction: Samantha Lopez is the Founder and Creative Director of Green Velvet; a full-service, interior design studio based in New York City, with over 7 years of industry experience.
Green Velvet is a hospitality interior design studio based in New York. We take cues and notes from classic styles and reimagine them for contemporary audiences, all while keeping each project centered around a space’s functional needs.
We make what’s old feel new again. We curate vintage 20th-century furnishings and decor and layer them in unique and unexpected ways, creating memorable spaces for entertaining that feel familiar yet fresh.
Our work ranges from quick styling projects to large renovation projects that we handle from concept to completion. We also offer custom finishes such as bespoke millwork and lighting.
Green Velvet also prides themselves as at the forefront of technology integration in the design industry:
-We simplify the design process by using digital tools such as AI to create customized inspiration imagery
-We have a team of global designers who create realistic 3D renderings to workshop your vision to ensure it's exactly how you want it
-We use 360-degree technology for mapping interior environments to create the base of our construction drawings and details for contractors to build from
-We've integrated the latest design project management software into our workflow to ensure the process is transparent for everyone involved. There is a client portal for you to easily approve or deny items of your design, as well as check in to see real-time updates on the status of orders, etc.
