FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For weddings: I initially have an email contact, then we speak on the phone to set the date, discuss the fee, and make an appointment to meet in person. I like to get to know the couple a little: it gives all of us a chance to work out the details of this intimate event of their marriage, gives me the opportunity to bring some personal touch to the service, and gives my clients a certain level of comfort and trust. We talk a bit, go over a typical ceremony, edit an outline of the ceremony, exchange a 1/2-fee deposit, and sign a contract. Then I arrive 1/2 hour early on the day of the wedding, officiate, and the remainder of the fee is then paid. For spiritual counseling: I am open to "meeting" clients over the phone, on Skype, on FaceTime, or in person for spiritual counseling. At present, I am also seeing clients at Namaste Bookstore, NYC. For pet bereavement counseling: I meet people wherever the nearest diner, park, coffee shop, etc. is (This is New York City/NJ.) I can also conduct sessions over the phone or Skype. Compassion fatigue counseling can also be at a public place, or whatever facility is experiencing the challenge. I am also agreeable to making pet bereavement counseling and compassion fatigue counseling part of my session with them at Namaste Bookstore. I am also comfortable planning a special service for a client's pet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed interfaith minister. I also received a certification as an Angel Intuitive, and am a Certified Angel Card Reader. In addition, I became a certified pet bereavement counselor - which also included compassion fatigue counseling for people who are exhausted or burned out over helping others.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love people. I really do! And I see people struggling every day. I was one of those people, but I got a tremendous gift: believing. Then I grew in joy and abundance. I wish this for everyone - and in spirit, there is always enough!
