My name is Mike Chennells, I have been a carpenter for 40 years mostly framing custom homes, building porches and decks and all interior and exterior trim work on the Jersey shore. I have been living in New York since 2010 I provide full drawings with material list for all deck, porch and stair jobs that I do. Payment plans available.

I have worked with many home improvement professionals over the last 2 decades as a real investor, property manager and home owner. Mike, by far is the best. His work certainly speaks for itself, it’s beautiful- he did crown molding, base and shoe molding for me top to bottom in my own home— so many jut outs and cuts were extremely difficult. Mike took a look at everything and nothing shook him at all ( others had said they could do it but when I saw their work- they had no idea of how to do crown molding- it’s an art and a skill) Not only was Mikes communication better than anyone I have worked with but his work ethic and abilities were a breath of fresh air. Mike thinks out of the box and can do so much more than molding and trim. He has worked with my mom who is on her own and In a wheelchair. She absolutely loved having him there and felt safe knowing he knew what he was doing and had her utmost safety in mind. Her knew siding looks fantastic- next is her composite front porch and ramp. Don’t hesitate to tell him of projects you need to have done because he can probably do it. He will be the first to tell you what he doesn’t do which is also a breath of fresh air. He is coming back to do more trim work, to install my beautiful front door and more down the road. I had never used this app before but I am so glad I did. Mike is fantastic- just look at his reviews because that is exactly what I did. These pics don’t do justice to his work ( this in unpainted and finished - he has pics too so he can show ya)

In removing wall-to-wall carpeting in the LR, DR, Hall and Foyer, we found there was no shoe molding on the baseboard trim. Mike did a fantastic job measuring, cutting, painting and installing the trim in one morning! We are so pleased with the finished look!
