If you need alterations, or someone to save you from bridesmaid dress anxiety, Erin is your fairy godmother. Have you ever been asked to wear an "infiniti" bridesmaid dress? Basically, there is a floor length skirt with elastic waistband, and then the top is two loooong stretches of fabric that you can wrap around your torso and tie any way you choose. It sounds great in theory, so all the girls can fashion it to suit their body shape, but in my family -- we found it challenging. Plus I have been told by an eyerolling wedding photographer that these dresses are notorious for coming untied and bridesmaids struggling with them throughout events. So, we reached out to kind and talented Erin. She took the two long pieces of fabric and magically created a top for this dress. With sleeves! It's beautiful. Has a great v-neckline created with a pleated, wrapped front, a completely constructed back, and 3/4 sleeves attached. Wow! And it's attached to the skirt now so it is a completely normal, one-piece attractive dress. It seemed to be helpful that we showed her a dress from my closet that we liked, and she took that with her to use as a pattern. She was able to just look at the sample dress and construct something very similar making her own pattern. I wish Erin lived next door to me. She is amazing!
