Just hired and we have his quote. Started around Jan 13. Very professional so farJan 3, 2020Verified
I hired John to install the floors in a home i just purchased, he was responsive and was very straight forward with cost and what work needed to be done. He pays close attention to detail and is a true craftsman and it shows in his work. I’m extremely satisfied in how my floors came out and i wont be hiring anyone else for but John for future work.Aug 16, 2020Verified
I am so happy that I found John's Home Improvement Service! He does professional high quality carpentry, and is very conscientious about being on time and returning texts/phone calls/emails. I contacted John (on a Thursday) to replace a set of dilapidated porch stairs. He got back to me almost immediately, and came by the same day to view the job and work up an estimate. John called on Friday-- the very next day-- to discuss the cost of the job. John started work on my new stairs on Monday at 8:00 A.M. and was finished at 2:00 P.M. The job site was perfectly tidy afterward and the my new stairs are perfect. I recommend John's Home Improvement Service without reservation. I added before and after photos so you can judge for yourself.Jul 29, 2020Verified
John was a pleasure to work with, he started the job exactly when he committed. He was on the job every work day until the job was done. No matter what curve ball we threw at him he accommodated without hesitation. Quality of work was top notch.May 18, 2020Verified
Bathroom and kitchen remodeled in older cottage. John is very easy to work with especially when unexpected issues arise. Quality of work makes customer felling very good.Jul 6, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?iam very transparent on pricing and labor,I'll show the customer the materials list and the labor all up front so that everyone is clear and on board.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?my first thing is always use drop clothes and seal everything up before I start the job and at the end of every day I clean up like I was never there that day.and i always have my contract with me the first day of work,in some cases before.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started in boces 10 through 12th grade and been in the remodeling business ever since.
