- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Remember to inquire about promotions. Discounts include dollar amounts off your events and referrals from family and friends. If you are a repeat client, you also receive a discount per hour. I capture memories for mostly birthday parties, baby showers, pre-wedding events, band events family reunions, and photo sessions starting at 2 years or older. Standard event Packages are on my website: I offer Basic Portrait Session with options and Invitation/Announcement packages as well. alisonkellyphotography.com Kindly remember that I look at your photos several times and work at post processing. I spend time with your photos to make sure you are completely satisfied ! That time is partially included in your quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss the event and what the client's needs are... what photos are needed, who will be there, what services are needed/how the photos will be delivered, prints or flash drive, digital download and editing; how many guests will be attending event or photo shoot. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have three licenses: Professional Course in Digital Photography, Portrait Photography, Business, and Videography. I take videos for bands only. I may do some video clips upon request with a disclaimer about audio or may not guarantee editing. The courses were taken at New York Institute of Photography. In the year 2015, I had a seasonal job at JC Penney Portrait Studio.
