Alison did such a wonderful job capturing my sister in laws baby shower. My family at first told me it was a bit "ridiculous" to hire a photographer but I am so happy I did. Actually we are all happy that Alison was there. When you are hosting an event it's stressful and it goes by very quickly. Alison arrived in the midst of us setting up and we were rushing to get the room in order and she offered to lend a hand. There was a calming presence about her and it was a relief to know the pictures were under control and I didn't have to worry. She captured every detail that went into the preparation of the room: welcome table, the onesie line, headband making station, cake cutting etc...I had asked her to take candid photographs mostly so we could look back at the day. It was done beautifully. Additionally Alison took group pictures and made sure all immediate family members were photographed. The turn around time was less than 48 hours with close to 300 pictures. I look forward to working with Alison again, she did an excellent job.

Alison is wonderful. She asked questions and made suggestions before the event so that she could capture the right shots. She was unobtrusive and obliging throughout the event, moving through the room and getting shots of all of our guests and all of the key moments. She produced a lovely mix of candid and posed shots. Her work is wonderful -- the joy of our event and our guests totally came through in her pictures. It was terrific to have Alison photograph this momentous event for us.

We contacted Alison just days before a 50th Birthday party for a friend - a last minute thought to have a photographer as a gift. Alison replied quickly that she was available and we are so glad she joined us. She was always quick to respond to our questions and ensured it was an easy process. The day of - she arrived early, took a few moments with us to make sure she had a list of the Must Have pictures and started shooting. Never intrusive but attentive when we asked. She sent the photos to us within a week and they are beautiful. ! She captured so many fabulous moments and most importantly capture the Birthday Guy having the best celebration. Thank you Alison !

Alison took photos for my baby shower. When I first inquired about her availability, I like that she asked questions about what I wanted. She arrived on time, made sure she understood what I wanted. She took beautiful candids of the blessing ceremony and there was enough time for posed photos. She asked guests if they wanted photos which I really appreciated and checked in with me before she left to make sure I got all of the photos I wanted. The photos came out beautiful. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Remember to inquire about promotions. Discounts include dollar amounts off your events and referrals from family and friends. If you are a repeat client, you also receive a discount per hour. I capture memories for mostly birthday parties, baby showers, pre-wedding events, band events family reunions, and photo sessions starting at 2 years or older. Standard event Packages are on my website: I offer Basic Portrait Session with options and Invitation/Announcement packages as well. alisonkellyphotography.com Kindly remember that I look at your photos several times and work at post processing. I spend time with your photos to make sure you are completely satisfied ! That time is partially included in your quote.

Discuss the event and what the client's needs are... what photos are needed, who will be there, what services are needed/how the photos will be delivered, prints or flash drive, digital download and editing; how many guests will be attending event or photo shoot. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have three licenses: Professional Course in Digital Photography, Portrait Photography, Business, and Videography. I take videos for bands only. I may do some video clips upon request with a disclaimer about audio or may not guarantee editing. The courses were taken at New York Institute of Photography. In the year 2015, I had a seasonal job at JC Penney Portrait Studio.
