Kmd - Vladimir and Freddy are terrific skilled rough and finish carpenters. The gut renovation project and new build extension they worked on had many challenges, but we solved solutions together . They also were accommodating and worked on another property we own in Brooklyn . The total project costs were in excess of " 6 figures" ; it was a great experience working with KMD . I look forward to seeing them working on our next real estate developments . We work with many companies and contractors in developing and building properties and truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism these two guys ( and their crew) demonstrated during some very difficult times. We had a tricky problem with our screened in porch that required some creativity. The previous owner had rigged up a roof and enclosed it himself...poorly. We needed someone to not just repair, but redesign the enclosure so that water and snow would properly drain off instead of collecting into ice dams where a strange gap separated the porch roof from the actual roof. I also wanted the frames with screens replaced which is a meticulous custom job. I had maybe 8 guys come take a look and after being quoted for tens of thousands of dollars by the other guys, Vladimire had a practical and much more cost effective solution. He and his brother not only did a functional and beautiful job but were polite, communicative, fair, and professional. I felt safe and respected with these gentlemen and would hire them again for any future projects.
